The project demonstrates mastery in cast-in-place construction, with smooth-finished retaining walls and steps that create a clean, geometric aesthetic throughout the sloped yard. Precision formwork was essential to achieve the sharp lines and integrated channels of the water system, which cascades through several levels. A separate gathering space is anchored by a dark-toned concrete fire pit, complemented by a built-in L-shaped seat wall. The main patio surface is defined by a grid of crisp, saw-cut control joints, giving the appearance of large-format pavers while maintaining monolithic strength.
